Antonio’s Taqueria (behind Jay Baker Hardware in the north end of town): Arguably the best Al Pastor burrito in the universe.
Gualala Pizza and Bakery (in Sundstrom Mall behind the old Gualala Hotel): Good pizza but I prefer the great selection of traditional Danish pasty, such as bear claws, cheese Danish, pecan and cinnamon sweet rolls, etc.
Trinck’s (in the center of town in the Cypress Village center): Great sandwiches, particularly the “Trink”, the “Cubano” and the “Quinoa Burger”.
TwoFish Baking Company (off Annapolis Road on the Sea Ranch): Great pizza, a limited selection of good sandwiches, coffee and great baked items.
Gualala Sport and Tackle (in the Sundstrom Mall behind the Gualala Hotel building): fun array of recreational equipment and wide selection of cool tee-shirts, sweatshirts and other sportswear.
Noma (next to the Surf Market): Interesting hand painted clothing and linens, as well as tableware and handmade jewelry made from recycled glass. Crafts, jewelry and clothing from a select group of artisans and designers.
